Choosing my small curtains

The range of small curtains is vast and the question is often asked about the type of curtain to choose for your window in order to have a harmonious decor in your home. All these small curtains have the particularity of attaching directly to the window using small curtains rods.
They generally do not come off the window like a sheer panel which is instead attached to the wall or ceiling using a rail. These small curtains come in several shapes:

The small panel curtain

Small panel curtains are rather light curtains in general embroidered which are fixed directly on the window. They are intended to be cut by the meter according to the dimensions of your window but also according to your wishes, because they generally exist in different dimensions:

Small panel curtain adjustable in height:

They generally made 45, 60 and 90 cm wide or close to these dimensions in order to best adapt to the width of the different windows, in most cases this curtain hardly wrinkles but we however, may also give it a slight pucker or ripple. They are cut to the height that best suits your window.

Small panel curtain adjustable in width:

These curtains are more commonly known as cafe curtains. These short curtains are themselves also produced in different dimensions, generally 12, 18, 24, 36 and sometimes even 48 inches in height or close to these dimensions.
They can then be cut by the yard according to the width of your window, we always advise to take a little more width to give a, vague, a relief to your curtain.

The advantages of the small embroidered panel curtain:

It is a good quality curtain, very well finished available in many sizes without requiring a tailor-made or any sewing, It is therefore available by the meter at a low price and often offered at excellent value price.
It is very easy to install on the window because it is quite light, rod pocket or openwork patterns are always provided in order to easily pass a small rod. It will protect you from outside looks while keeping a beautiful natural light inside your home.

The straight or pointed made to measure curtain:

We propose light made to measure curtains that hang directly from small rods attached to the window sashes.
The curtain occupies the entire window, most often in a light veil, they will filter the natural light and keep the privacy of your home, they arise flat on the window.

The cafe curtain

Available by the yard in the direction of the width, often finished in tortoiseshell, this curtain has the advantage of being available in large width. Our site suggests that you select the dimensions that correspond to the width of a pattern in order to always have full scales.
The price remains identical to the cafe curtain sold by the meter.

To choose your width , it is best to measure the rod where the curtain will be placed. At this dimension it is generally necessary to provide about 20 to 30% additional. However if your taste is for curtains a little more gathered, some of our customers take up to 50% more.

To choose your height , there is no rule, all heights are good! The most important thing is to dress your window as you wish. You can set any breeze heights to suit the landscape you want to enjoy, or the part of the window you want to hide.
